I surf the net a lot to know about latest technology and researchers but I recently came to know about google x which was founded in 2010. So I searched for its projects and why I didn’t know about this for 7 years? This is because it is semi-secret research and Development facility founded by Google as obvious.

Driverless car how awesome is that?

Now, Google is going to provide us a driverless car but the problem arriving is law. Google had been lobbying for driverless car laws.

Google had test driven their fleet of vehicles, in autonomous mode, a total of 1,498,214 mi (2,411,142 km).

Project Wing is a project that aims to rapidly deliver products across a city by using flying vehicles, similar to the Amazon Prime Air concept.

It had already been in development secretly at Google for about two years, with full-scale testing being carried out in Australia.

The intended purpose of Project Glass products would be the hands-free displaying of information currently available to most smartphone users, and allowing for interaction with the Internet via natural language voice commands.

One more innovation to display digital data on any physical object is under research by one of the Ph.D. student at MIT called Sixth Sense Technology.

  • space elevator, which was deemed to be currently infeasible.
  • hoverboard, which was determined to be too costly relative to the societal benefits
  • user-safe jetpack, which was thought to be too loud and energy-wasting
  • teleportation, which was found to violate the laws of physics.
